Oh Well…

Frank Sinatra, taught us, “That’s Life.”

Doris Day reminded us, “Que Sera, Sera, whatever will be, will be.”

The Beatles, in their ultimate wisdom told us to “Let it Be.”

Elsa sang from her ice castle, ‘Let it Go!”

The French say, “C’est la vie.”

We’ve heard:

“Let the chips fall where they may.”

“Ain’t no big thang.”

“So what?”

“Whatever.”

“**** happens.”

“****it.”

“What the ****.”

“Get over it.”

“Deal with it”.

Diane Keaton in Annie Hall casually lamented, “La-di-da, la-di-da, la la.”

And who can forget Bill Murray’s famous homage to all of the above in the cult favorite movie, “Meatballs.”

Camp counselor

Tripper (Bill Murray) attempts to motivate Camp Northstar before the “Olympiad” event against rivals Camp Mohawk. Tripper in his ultimate wisdom wants to teach his team that winning isn’t everything, as long as you do your best and have fun. Tripper’s motivational tirade ends with the old “it doesn’t matter if you win or lose lesson” with the movie’s hilarious and famous line:

“It just doesn’t matter!”

“It just doesn’t matter!”

The entire camp ultimately joins in chanting this inspiring team-building mantra, over and over again.

“IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER!!”

“IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER!!”

Very cool scene, great message.

So what is this blog really about anyway?

All of the above.

Life.

It tosses and turns us, upside down, all around. It can change like the weather. Sunny. Cloudy. Overcast. Rain, light drizzle heavy downpour, thunderstorms, hurricanes. At times we can get caught up in each phase and allow it to toss us around.

Like the weather, there are times we can not control what life throws at us. That’s just life.

Bring an umbrella. Wear rain boots. I not, you’ll get wet. Or soaked.

So what?

You’ll dry off.

I’ve been off of social media for a few weeks. I had some growing to do, like studying for a test. I needed to focus on what my guides were trying to teach me.

This lesson they were trying to re-teach me was so easy, yet so hard for so many of us. I occasionally forgot the lesson, and I didn’t even realize it.

This wasn’t a long test. Not a lot of questions, or essays. They just wanted me to learn and REMEMBER two words.

Two very important words.

“Oh well.”

That’s it. “Oh well.”

Life is full of “Oh wells.”

It is what it is.

We all need reminders.

I had to learn to get out of my head for good, and into my soul, where my Angels are.

And stay there.

Live there.

Learn there.

Grow there.

Love there.

We all need reminders now and then.

I needed a reminder.

I have to say, I like it here.

Oh well.

I think I’ll stay.

Blessings,

Karen
